Saturday November 2nd, 2024 – Bring the whole family for the Hippo Dash 5K Walk/Run, 1 Miler, Kids Dash 1K (open to children 12 and under).

This event is sold out, but you can still volunteer.

What’s included: “Flat Paved Park Run Course, Stampede Over the Bridges Experience, Timed Results, 5K Training Plan, Custom Medal & Shirt, and Top Finishers, Age Group Awards, Finish Line Hippo Dance Party.”

This year, the Hippo 5K Dash is partnering with the Hutto Resource Center Food Pantry.

You’re encouraged to bring a non-perishable dessert item to race packet pick-up or on race day so that local families can have a sweet Thanksgiving. Here are the suggestions for what to donate: boxed cake mix, canned frosting, canned pie or fruit filling.

Event Schedule

November 1st – Packet Pickup at Fleet Feet Round Rock from 4pm to 6:30pm.

November 2nd – Race Morning Packet Pick up at Fritz Park – 6:45am until 8am

November 2nd – 5K Walk/Run – 9am until 11:30am.

November 2nd – 1 Mile Walk/Run – 9am until 11:30am.

November 2nd – Kids Dash – 8:45am until 9:45am.

Weather Info – “Sunny, rainy, windy, chilly – we’re on! However, if it storms with lightning or severe weather poses a hazard to the participants, the event will be canceled.”
