Thursday, November 28th, 2024 – Gather your friends and come out for the second annual Hutto Turkey “Trail” Trot!

This year is all about pajamas! They are sponsoring the “Pajama Program,” which means you are encouraged to wear your favorite pajamas to the race.

You can choose your distance from 1.1 miles to 3.1 miles.

They are having a post-race party that includes music, a bonfire, games, pie-eating contests, hot cocoa and coffee, a restoration station, and communal, interactive art experiences. The post-race festivities are included with your race entry.

When – Thursday, November 28th, 2024. Thanksgiving morning. 8am to 11 am.

Where – Hippo Social Club, 3250 Limmer Loop #5. Map Below

Parking is available at Christ the Rock, with overflow parking at Cottonwood Creek Elementary.

“This year, we’re proud to support The Pajama Program and encourage you to trot in your favorite PAJAMAS! Want to give back? We’re collecting NEW PAJAMAS boys and girls youth small through youth xl.

“Pajamas do not need to be holiday-themed to support the Austin Pajama Program Chapter. Pajama donations will be accepted starting Monday, November 4th, 2024, through Thanksgiving morning.”

“All distances will take place on wide, 100% DIRT trails. THIS IS NOT A ROAD RACE! The trails feature LEAVES, ROCKS, and ROOTS, so watch your footing. Be ready for changing inclines that will challenge you along the way.”

This is a pet-friendly event, but the dogs must be leashed and you must clean up after your pet.

Strollers are allowed at your discretion since it’s not a smooth course. Note the description above.

Children are welcome with parent/guardian permission and/or adult supervision, depending on your child’s ability.

“Proceeds from the race will go toward the continued development, beautification, and maintenance of the Hippo Trails green space, creating a natural escape in the heart of Hutto. All new pajama donations will directly benefit The Pajama Program, a national 501C Organization.”
