Silos Farmers Market – Tuesdays & Fridays
Friday, March 28th. Offering seasonal, local farm fresh produce, baked goods, local artisans, freshly prepared foods, pies, cookies and much more.
Silos Farmers Market has made some changes to their location and their days.
When
Tuesday Weekly Market Day: Every Tuesday 3pm to 7pm, beginning February 18th, 2025.
Friday Weekly Market: Every Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM, beginning February 21, 2025.

Hutto High School Annual Job Fair
Tuesday, April 29th, 2025 – It’s the Hutto High School Job Fair 2025!
Businesses are invited to reserve a table to recruit soon-to-be graduates. Promote your company and find the next generation of professionals.
When – Tuesday, April 29th, 2025.
Location – Hutto High School, 101 Chris Kelley Blvd, Hutto.

2 Hutto Easter Egg Hunts 2025
Sunday, April 13th, 2025 – Hutto is offering two Easter Egg Hunts this year, one for kiddos under 12 and one for adults 21 and over. This is a free event, and everyone is invited to share in the fun!
For the younger crowd, they are hiding 50,000 eggs! Bring your basket for age-appropriate surprises!
For the adults, there will be eggs stuffed with candy, prizes, or tickets that can be redeemed for items. They are saying to be on the lookout for designer eggs.

Grapes & Rye Grand Opening – Saturday Night!
Saturday, March 29th, 2025 – Grapes & Rye, a premier curated cocktail and mobile tap trailer, is opening a physical location in Hutto! And you’re invited to their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting!
Grand Opening attendees will have the opportunity to tour the new facility, meet the Grapes & Rye team, taste signature cocktails, and experience the unique atmosphere firsthand.

How fun is this, fellow Garage Sale lovers? You’ll find lots of neighbors doing garage sales in the Hutto Highlands Neighborhood on Saturday, March 29th!! Come get a great deal! The sales are from 8am to 1pm.
From the Calendar – Gus Almquist PTSA Spring Carnival
March 29 @ 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Everybody is invited to the First Annual Gus Almquist PTSA Spring Carnival!
You’ll have fun all day with Rides, Games, a Car Show, Food Trucks, a Vendor Fair and more! Expect 10 interactive games and rides, including a rock wall, a mechanical bull, and a dunk tank. Plus, there’ll be plenty of popcorn and cotton candy.
The day will start with a Sunrise Fun Run at 10am. The other activities will start at 11am.
They are looking for vendors and crafters for the first annual Spring Festival! The 10×10 spaces are only $20.

Doggie Dash – 5K With Your Dog – From the Calendar
Saturday, March 29th, 2025 – How fun! It’s a 5K run with your dog!
Participants must keep their dogs leashed at all times. There’s also a 1K for those who need it.
You will be running or walking the course with your dog. Water stations will be available at the beginning, at the end, and along the course for both you and your dog
There will be a post-run PAW-TY that will start right after the run. Expect several activities, pet-friendly vendors, music, games, and photo ops. Plus, you will have the chance to adopt a pet.
When – Saturday, March 29th. 9am to 12noon.
Where – Nguyen Football Field
Entry Fee – Free

Hutto Spring Family Campout – From the Calendar
April 4th & 5th – It’s the Hutto Spring Family Camp Out!!! Bring your family and your tent, and enjoy the outdoors at Adam Orgain Park! All ages!
This one-night event is presented by the City of Hutto Parks and Rec Department and will feature a delicious dinner, S’mores ingredients, a Hearty Breakfast, outdoor activities, and engaging and educational demonstrations.
When – Friday, April 4th at 5pm until Saturday, April 5th at 10:30am.
Where – Adam Orgain Park, 1001 Co Rd 137, Hutto.
Cost – $30 per family

Saturday, April 12th, 2025. How Fun is this! Bring the family and come enjoy this event for all ages!

Hutto Crawfish Festival
Saturday, April 12, 2025. Save the date for the annual Hutto Crawfish Festival, put on by the Hutto Chamber of Commerce!
Whether you’re a newcomer or an old timer, you need to get yourself Downtown for this super fun Hutto event!
The day’s festivities will, of course, include copious amounts of Crawfish, Live Music, Arts & Crafts vendors, & Food vendors.
When – Saturday, April 12th. 10am to 6pm.
Where – Downtown Hutto
This is a free event, with vendors selling food and merchandise.

3rd Annual Hutto Mayor Golf Tournament
Monday, April 14th, 2025 – The 3rd Annual Hutto Mayor Golf Tournament is coming up, and you are invited to play and/or sponsor!
They are offering two tee times. 8am and 1pm. The cost is $175 if you register and pay as an individual or $750 if you register and pay as a four-person team. Lunch will be between noon and 1pm.
The event is presented by The Hippo Foundation to raise awareness and financial support for Hutto’s area non-profits.

Movie in the Park – Moana II – From the Calendar
Saturday, April 26th – The Movie in the Park is a fun family time! Moana II, a 2024 Disney animated movie, will be showing!

Freebirds World Burrito Begins Interior Construction
We are excited to share with you that Freebirds has started the build-out on their Hutto location! A reader asked us to check it out and we did!
When we were there on Sunday, 3/23, there was a work van there, and the sheetrock crew was working.
The very kind gentleman that was there didn’t have a lot of information but he did confirm that this is the location of the new Freebrids World Burrito coming to Hutto!

McAlister’s Deli Hutto Update
We’ve heard back from McAlister’s Deli, and the opening date has been pushed back.
Ken and I went there this past weekend to check on the progress. The outside still looks the same with paper on parts of the building. The inside has made progress, but it looks like there’s more work to do there.
We are told just today, 3/26, that the new opening date is May 26th! Our contact said that’s all he can tell us at this time.
We wish McAlister’s Deli Hutto the very best in their endeavors to open. And we completely understand that stuff happens!

Almost Everything Pop-up Market – First Saturdays, 10am to 4pm – Every month from March through December. This downtown Hutto outdoor event features local artisans, small businesses, bakers, and kid-friendly entertainment.

Hutto Market Days – Third Saturday Each Month. 9am to 3pm or 4pm. Featuring local artisans, hand-made products, and booths for community groups. There’s food from downtown cafes, and there will be various food trucks, too.
Admission is free, pets are welcome, and parking is available on the surrounding blocks.
