Hutto Market Days Holiday Edition
Saturday, December 21st – Come find something unique for those special someones on your gift list!
Featuring local artisans, hand-made products, and booths for community groups. There’s food from downtown cafes, and there will be various food trucks, too.
Admission is free, pets are welcome, and parking is available on the surrounding blocks.

Light Up Your Night at Adam Orgain Park
December 5th through December 29th, Thursdays through Sundays. Light Up Your Night at Adam Orgain Park is a brand new event from the City of Hutto. It’s time to start a new tradition!
It’s an interactive walking trail of lights with over 100 beautiful light displays with sounds! Each night offers unique programming. And along your stroll, you can purchase refreshments from local non-profits and organizations. Learn More about Light Up Your Night Here
Whoville Winter Break Camp
December 26th thru January 3rd, 2024/25. It’s Hutto’s Whoville Winter Camp! Here’s something for the kiddos during the Christmas Holiday break!
The Holiday fun will include field trips, arts and crafts, games, and holiday cookies! It also includes a trip to Adam Orgain Park for a walk through the Holiday lights. Learn more and find the registration link here.
Hutto Celebrates World Hippo Day
Saturday, February 15th, 2025 – Hutto Celebrates World Hippo Day, “The Hippo Celebration will include music, merchandise vendors, food and drink vendors, and maybe some surprises!!” The city of Hutto.
It looks like the 2025 Celebration will be moving from City Hall to downtown this year. According to the City of Hutto, “Permitting is underway to have the event in Downtown Hutto in the area of East and Farley.” Learn More about Hutto Celebrates World Hippo Day here.
Hutto Town Square Neighborhood Crawl
January 11, 2025. That’s right, it’s the Hutto Town Square Neighborhood Crawl, an opportunity to have fun, meet our neighbors, and see some downtown Hutto homes!
There are seven houses on the list. Each will be providing a beverage, snacks, and music! They might also have games or a pinata!
The way it’s set up is that each home is open for 25 minutes, so the group stays together.

Jack Allen’s Kitchen To Open February 2025
We’ve spoken with the fine folks at Jack Allen’s Kitchen and have confirmed February 2025 as their new opening target. They are waiting on a piece of equipment that is on backorder. We are excited for them and for us!
We also want to note that the beautiful new office building behind Jack Allen’s Kitchen is visible in the photo!

Flora Hutto
We took pictures when we visited the new Flora subdivision this week. It’s being built in the northeast section of Hutto.
The Flora website shares that the new subdivision will include Market Square, Bloom House, Parks and Trails, and a lot more.

Almost Everything Pop-up Market – First Saturdays, 10am to 4pm – Every month from March through December. This downtown Hutto outdoor event features local artisans, small businesses, bakers, and kid-friendly entertainment.

Hutto Farmers Market – Offering seasonal local farm fresh produce, artisans, homemade sauces and jams, ready-to-eat foods, local roasted coffee, and much more. Every Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm.

Silos Farmers Market – Offering seasonal, local farm fresh produce, baked goods, local artisans, freshly prepared foods, pies, cookies and much more. Open Sundays all year. Rain or Shine. 10am – 2pm.
