12/18/24 Update – Jack Allen’s Kitchen looks great and ready to open from our view across the pond!

We spoke with the fine folks at Jack Allen’s Kitchen, who told us that their opening date has been moved to February 2025! 

Location – Hutto Co-op District – 300 Exchange Blvd

Flora Hutto

12/18/24 – We visited the new Flora subdivision being built in the northeast section of Hutto. We took some pictures of the structures there now.

The new Flora Hutto plans include Market Square, Bloom House, Parks and Trails, and more!

Location – 150 Timber Valley Trail, Hutto.

HT Fitness Hutto Update

12/17/24 – We’ve spoken with Melissa at the HT Fitness Home Office. The new hopeful opening date is March 2025! They will be having special membership drives with great pricing as it gets closer to the opening date!

We’ve been to the Hutto location and found the start of a very large building there. We have new images.

Location – HWY 79 and Star Ranch Blvd.

The Zodi’x Cigar Lounge is Open in Hutto!!

They have a really sweet place with big, comfy chairs, a walk-in humidor, BYOB service, an outdoor lounge, lockers for members, and great owners!

Location – 101 Limmer Loop. In the same center as Ash Smoke Shop and Pfluttos Tavern.

Chuy’s Tex-Mex – Update 12/9/24

We have another update for you! Even though Chuy’s Hutto is hiring and looks ready doesn’t mean they’ll open too soon! We’ve heard from Chuy’s Corporate and learned they intend to open in late January of 2025.

As we get closer to the opening date, we’ll have Grand Opening details.

Happy Panini – Now Open!

12/9/24 – The well-loved food truck turned restaurant is NOW OPEN at their permanent location!

We took part in the Hippo Claus Crawl this past Saturday night, and Happy Panini was participating in the event. They were serving food and they told us that they are officially open now!

Location – 202 Farley Street, next to The Downtown Hall of Fame.

Naya Bazaar – Photo Update 12/4/24

We’re glad to report that the Naya Bazaar is still coming! The inside is looking very neat and clean and ready for them to move in. We went by the Naya Bazaar location and took some photos of the inside.

They’ll be offering a fresh meat market and authentic Indian Dishes.

Hutto Crossing Industrial Park – Photo Update 12/4/24

It’s hard to believe this area was just dirt only a few months ago! Now, there are huge concrete structures everywhere. You’ve been asking about this one. It’s hard to miss along Hwy 79, right across from the new Chuy’s location.

Hutto Crossing will offer 7 state-of-the-art buildings totaling 1,681,619 square feet of build-to-suit or lease industrial space.

Location – Just west of Town West Commons at Hwy 79 (across from Chuy’s and EVO Entertainment.)

EVO Entertainment – Updated 11/26/24

We went by the location of the new EVO this weekend and found a huge concrete building. If you’ve been wondering what that is behind Chuy’s, it’s the tremendous EVO building! We have new pictures, too.

Cottonwood Creek Brewery & Smokehouse – 11/22/24 Update

We’ve spoken with the fine folks at Cottonwood Creek Brewery & Smokehouse, and they are getting much closer to opening. The target date is early January!

We were there a few days ago, and we have some new images for you.

Location – 610 Hwy 79, near The Home Depot.

Craft brewery, BBQ Smokehouse, and 6500 sq ft concert venue.

Burger King – Updated 11/21/24

Fairy Freeze – Updated 11/15/24

We’ve been in touch with Fairy Freeze’s owners, and they have changed their permanent location opening date to early March 2025. They are also planning a Grand Opening at that time! 🙂

Bella Donuts – Updated 11/11/24

Bella Donuts is getting closer to their opening date! We were by the location on FM 1660 yesterday. We were able to get a photo of the inside through the window. It’s looking good!

We were also able to speak with one of the neighbors who has been following Bella Donut’s opening pains. We are told that it’s been a year since Bella Donuts began their journey. They have had several delays with contractors and with the City to get permits.

McAlister’s Deli – Photo Update 11/07/24

We found the contractors onsite this week so we were able to get pictures and their best guess for opening! We have a new photo gallery taken this past weekend!

Hutto Veterans Memorial – Added 11/7/24

The City of Hutto is undertaking the construction of a Veterans Memorial. The location will be just to the west of the City Hall Building in the Co-Op District.

Panera Bread – Added 10/28/24

Panera Bread is showing up on the City’s Development map! It’s listed under projects in review. We have edited the city’s map; we’ve identified Panera and some of the other businesses near the proposed Panera Bread location to make it easier to find.

Taco Bueno – Added 10/24/24

According to a Hutto Development map, the new Taco Bueno is planned for the Carmel Creek Crossing.

It is listed as ‘under construction” by the city. Our best guess is it’s the foundation without a sign between McAlister’s Deli and Take 5 Oil Change.

Freebirds World Burrito – Added 10/22/24

According to the City of Hutto Commercial Development Viewer, Freebirds is under review.

Location – Carmel Creek Crossing, near Salad and Go and Smoky Mo’s on Chris Kelly Blvd.

Hutto Megasite – Photo Update 10/17/24

They are making good progress on the Hutto Megasite, located just east of town along Hwy 79.

We went by to take some pictures, it’s hard to tell exactly what is what. There are some big buildings out there now and a bunch of cranes!

Location – Hwy 79 at County Road 132. Just across from Covert Chevrolet.

Sonora Bank – Added 9/18/24

There’s a new beautiful Sonora Bank building going up on Exchange Blvd. in Hutto! Although Sonora already has a satellite office, this will be its first branch in Hutto.

Convenience, Store Gas & Retail on Limmer Loop – Added 9/5/24

There’s a big sign at the intersection of Limmer Loop and 132 telling us we can expect a new convenience store with gas and retail! Right now, at this intersection are mostly corn fields and electric lines.

Hutto Mega TechCenter – Added 8/28/24

The Hutto Mega TechCenter is part of the Hutto Megasite, which is located east of Hutto along Hwy 79.

When complete, the 188-acre Class A industrial park will have 9 buildings. Buildings 1 and 2 are available for lease or sale and are slated for completion early in 2025.

Grocery & Taqueria – Added 8/27/24

The sign says a new 15,000-square-foot Grocery and Taqueria is coming to the corner of County Road 119 and Limmer Loop!

New Chase Bank – Added 8/9/24

We recently found the beginnings of a new Chase Bank coming to Hutto! It’s just getting started, we took a few pictures of the site.

Location – Near the HEB at Gattis School Road and Muirfield Bend Drive.
